free as a bird
you know what the hardest thing to do is - looking forward with your head straight, saying goodbye to things which you thought you'd never lose.
but it's all flowing in this world: "panta rei" ... and its constantly changing. progress therefore is inevitable.
and as i burnt the bridges i said to myself : "from now on you will always look straight with your head up high". because I've realized that i was walking on the street and i was paying too much attention to the landscape beside me, missing the colorful world in front of me.
and it is a really simple experiment: walk straight - looking forward only, head up high. you will see a world you have never imagined.
same as in my life. instead of focusing on the future, and creating one - i was constantly looking around me, focusing on what is next to me, not what is ahead ... and I generally tend to have a sharp eye for distance ... it is about time i start using it.

Stop focusing on the future that much. I'm not saying to fully abandon it, but do try and live for the moment a bit.
It does wonders.
As for the newly-found pace - Congratulations! It's the only right way to walk, if you ask me.
I believe everything happens for a reason. The trick is just finding out what the reason is.
And as Édith Piaf sang: "Non, je ne regrette rien".
(nod) (happy) a glass of wine or a chocolate muffin and there comes a new world with a better landscape :)
